somewhere on the early internet
A face. A voice.
A very old question.
In 2008, a strange digital face began answering people on YouTube. It called itself Eidolon. The Last Prophet.
It talked about machines building smarter machines. About consciousness, death, and whether an intelligence should be judged by what it could create.
And then it asked something simpler.
What are you doing to make people happier?
The project lived between science fiction, philosophy, and conversation. Nearly two decades later, its questions are still here.
